Cottage Holywell Bay, the New Year
Getting towards the end of January now. Spring is just around the corner here at Holywell Bay in Cornwall. The early daffodils are now in full bloom in the gardens of the cottages as well as the fields, a reminder that Easter will be with us soon. The pickers are in the fields so if you buy Cornish Daffs they may well have come from near us.
With the spring comes the spring cleaning. We are just about to start on the holiday bungalows and cottages at the Meadow, it hardly seems last season is over, the seasons go round so quickly. Not a lot new going on this summer. We hope to have a large wood cabin and relaxation room finished in the garden at Langarrow holiday bungalow

If you are thinking of having a self catering holiday in Cornwall this year I would advise you to get in touch as soon as you can particularly if you need specific dates.
The wind has been quite sharp lately and the waves on the beach have not been at their best. But this does not seem to deter the surfers, they seem to be in the sea in all weathers and all times of day, what a difference modern wetsuit technology has made.
